Cheers and applause erupted in the lobby of the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital as a new total was announced for the radiothon.
It was 11 a.m. It had only been five hours since the Family First Radiothon began at 6 a.m. and already it had raised $10,007 for the Moose Jaw Health Foundation. That amount only climbed as the day went on.
“It’s a good cause. We deal with the health foundation all the time,” said Jason Surtees with the Moose Jaw and District EMS, who was one of the volunteers at the radiothon on Thursday.
