Every year, the Moose Jaw Health Foundation’s radiothon has “never ceased to amaze” Kelly McElree.
This year’s radiothon, held May 5-6, was no different.
“There were just so many warm and touching stories from different individuals and groups making donations. What comes to mind, one surely would be the Royal Canadian Legion and their poppy fund. A longtime foundation supporter and individual charge of the poppy fund, Ethel Schmidt, she passed away recently,” said McElree, executive director of the Moose Jaw Health Foundation (MJHF).
