For heat lovers like me, it's hard to complain about the last few days of warm weather we've been having.
I mean, how can you top this? We've got the sun, a dash of wind
occasionally, and temperatures soaring to and above 30 Celsius in the
first week of May. It already feels like July and I love it.
there is something that dramatically takes away from the excitement for
heat. Just look to our neighbours to the west. Thanks to extremely dry
conditions and a lack of precipitation, much of northern Alberta is
facing devastating fires and it's only the beginning of May.
the stories, seeing the images and watching the videos of the fires
raging in Alberta is heartbreaking and scary. With flames towering above
the trees and clouding the skies, it makes me shudder just to think of
everyone affected by these.
