Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Examining city expenses, revenues so far

Council receives report on revenues and expenses for first three months of 2016

In the first three months of the year, the city has spent 23 per cent of its total expenditure budget for 2016.

At Monday’s council meeting, Brian Acker, director of financial services, presented a report detailing the revenues and expenditures in the first three months of the year. It was received and filed.
For the period from Jan. 1 to March 31, 2016, the city has spent $10.08 million of the $44.35 million 2016 budget, an increase of $1.07 million compared to the same period in 2015 when the city had spent $9.01 million.
