Moose Jaw is one of five Canadian cities selected to compete to host a concert featuring Grammy Award winner Meghan Trainor.

The inaugural Air Miles Detour program, which launched on Tuesday, is a national campaign to reward one community with a performance by Trainor. Moose Jaw, Morin-Heights, Que., Mulmur, Ont., Nelson, B.C. and Port Hawkesbury, N.S. were the communities chosen to compete for votes.

“It's really celebrating local music scenes and music history in each city. Each of the five cities were chosen because they're different and they bring something unique to the Canadian music landscape,” said Kate Bruce, tour manager for Air Miles Detour in Moose Jaw.

    1. Hi Macie. You can register to vote at airmiles.ca/detour to choose your city. Once you've registered, all you have to do to vote is use your Air Miles card. Every mile earned equates to one vote for your chosen city.
