Prepare the Imperial March as there are a lot of Stormtroopers headed this way.

“501st Legion is the largest fan-based costuming group for the ‘Star Wars’ universe,” said William Stevens, southern Saskatchewan co-ordinator with the 501st Legion. “We’re basically a group that goes out, we’ll show up at different events and we raise money for various children’s charities every year.”

Legion members attend many events in costume from the ‘Star Wars’ universe, focusing mainly on the “bad guys’ side of the universe,” said Stevens. The majority of 501st members are Stormtroopers, other acceptable costumes include villains like Tusken Raiders, Bounty Hunters and Sith Lords.
