CUPE Local 9 hosted a
rally outside of
city hall on April 11, 2016 to show support for
city workers in the negotiations
for a fair collective
agreement with the City of Moose Jaw.

In unison,
more than 30 people chanted in support of a fair collective agreement now.
On Monday
outside of city hall before the executive committee meeting, CUPE Local 9
hosted a rally in support of city workers prior to conciliation this week with
the conciliator provided by the province.
“We’ve still got a long way to go to reach a
fair collective agreement,” said Stacey Landin, president of CUPE Local 9.
