Minister responsible for SaskTel says Sask. Party not
actively looking to sell the Crown

The Saskatchewan NDP brought forward a petition from members
of the SaskTel Defined Benefit Pension Plan on Wednesday in opposition to the
potential sale of SaskTel.
“I think it’s disgraceful that this government in a lot of
other circumstances has some fine things to say about the men and women that
work for one of our great Crown corporations like SaskTel,” said NDP SaskTel
critic Warren McCall.
“If they can’t provide a written assurance to the people
that built SaskTel, there’s something very wrong.”
