Saskatchewan celebrates inaugural Canada’s Agriculture Day

Feb. 16 was 

all about celebrating agriculture in Canada and that includes Saskatchewan.

“It’s actually Canada’s Agriculture Day and the theme is ‘Let’s celebrate the food we love,’” said Michelle Panko, agriculture awareness specialist with the Saskatchewan Ministry of Agriculture.

“With us being the Ministry of Agriculture here in Saskatchewan, it’s a natural fit for us. We’re a big player to fall behind this initiative to celebrate and support Canada’s Agriculture Day.”
