Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Moose Jaw marks Pink Day 2017

For Tony Baldwin, director of education at Prairie South School Division, Pink Day’s importance goes beyond the day itself.

“Any time you can draw attention to any kind of societal issue, it’s a good thing. I certainly hope that Pink Day isn’t the extent of the work that we’re doing in schools to help kids have good relationships with one another, though. Yes, I think it’s great that we have Pink Day,” he said.

“More important than Pink Day is the belief that it represents that we can continue to do better and help kids to have positive relationships with each other.”
