March is nutrition month and local dietician Crystal MacGregor is educating Moose Javians about healthy eating habits.
“One of my best tips that I like to give for a well-balanced diet is eating regularly throughout the day and if you’re looking at picturing a plate, we like to recommend that half your plate come from brightly coloured vegetables or fruits,” MacGregor said. “So the more colour, the better. Make that half your plate.”
It’s what dieticians call the “plate method.”
