For the next three weeks, the Association Communautaire Fransaskoise (ACF) Moose Jaw will be highlighting Francophone culture in the community.
The provincial government declared Mar. 2 to 22 as Rendez-vous de la Francophonie 2017 in Saskatchewan with a theme of La Francophone in 3D: Diversity, Duality and Dynamism.
“If the community doesn’t know we’re here, they’re not going to try to offer more services in French. It’s a little bit of our bad because to be polite, we’ll always switch to English if someone’s talking in English, but then we end up being unseen, which is a problem,” said Marie-Claire Khadij, director of ACF Moose Jaw.
