Nineteen Moose Jaw students participated in

the southern Saskatchewan special honour

band music training weekend in Regina.

For several years now, Amethyst Robertson has dreamed of being selected for the southern Saskatchewan special honour band music training weekend.

When she found out she’d been selected for the training weekend this year, it was a dream come true for the Grade 9 Peacock Collegiate student.

“I started crying, honestly,” said Robertson, who has been playing the flute for numerous years.
