The Saskatchewan Ministry of Health has provided a voluntary separation package to all Regional Health Authority (RHA) CEOs and vice-presidents.
“It really provides an opportunity for those individuals to self-identify if they are not interested in joining the new Provincial Health Authority,” said Tracey Smith, assistant deputy minister within the provincial health ministry. “We are, throughout this transition, wanting to be respectful. This is one of the means through which we want to approach this situation and it’s really as result of the change and the transition to a single provincial health authority in the fall.”
