Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Lisa's Corner: Assiniboia is a peaceful wonder

Sometimes it's a good thing to get out of your usual habitat.

This was my experience recently. As soon as I drove out of Moose Jaw south on Highway 2, the first thing that jumped out at me was the scenery.

Filled with rolling hills with green grass juxtaposed against blue sky and the sun, I also saw bodies of water as I drove. So many birds flew overhead that, unless you have ornithophobia, you'd appreciate in wonder.

I was amazed at the gorgeous scenery on my drive. There was a valley that I imagined would be a fun roller coaster with its ups and downs. It was gorgeous to look at and it made for a very interesting drive.
