Marc Girard recognizes how valuable the hospital is to the community.

It is this value that prompted the Moose Jaw Co-op to donate $200,000 to the Moose Jaw Health Foundation’s Capital Equipment Campaign, presented on Wednesday.

“Being that the new hospital’s right here in our community and the majority of our members are people right from here in the city and surrounding area, the hospital is a facility that is needed by the entire large area of the health district and it fits right in with our membership,” said Girard, board president of the Moose Jaw Co-op.
