Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Building permits see big decrease in July

City released almost half as many permits last month compared to July 2014

Last month, the city saw fewer building permits than it did in July 2014.

In July of this year, the City of Moose Jaw issued 27 permits valued at $2.62 million. In July 2014, the city issued 41 permits valued at $6.94 million. This is a decrease of 14 permits, or a decrease in value of $4.33 million.

Of those 27 permits issued last month, 24 were for residential construction valued at approximately $2.31 million and three were for commercial and industrial construction valued at approximately $304,130.
