Moose Jaw woke up to whipping winds and white-out conditions Tuesday morning, as a winter storm hit southern Saskatchewan.

Many communities faced blizzard warnings, snow warnings or winter storm warnings for much of the day. Moose Jaw and surrounding areas were under a blowing snow advisory for the whole day, with poor visibility reported in several locations.
