Power restored after almost 24 hours at Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant

Some customers were affected for almost 24
hours because of a power outage at the Buffalo Pound Water Treatment Plant.
“We had a power outage. We had a line
structure fail and in between the main plant and what we call the lake pump
station. So when the structure failed, the line connected with a power pole,
basically burning it,” said Ryan Johnson, general manager of the Buffalo Pound
Water Treatment Plant.
The power at the
plant went out at 1:52 p.m. on Tuesday.
