Pierre Cléroux sees this week, which is Small Business Week, as a celebration and a reflection.
"It's an opportunity to celebrate the success of small business, but
also it's an opportunity to reflect on issues that are important for
small businesses," he said. "So we decided to look at the factor of
growth to understand what are the best strategies to grow."
As the chief economist with the Business Development Bank of Canada
(BDC), he added that 41 per cent of Canadian businesses "outperformed
the economy" in the last three years.
