Executive committee adopts new policy for the City of Moose Jaw

After more than an hour of debate, the majority of executive committee decided to adopt a new purchasing policy for the city.

"We're merely trying to put something in front of council that will allow you to consider ways to help us become more efficient," said city manager Matt Noble.

"The existing policy right now and existing procedures have resulted in numerous discrepancies in applications ... Administration is trying to find ways to improve the services that are being offered, both internally and externally."
