If it weren't for the work of SCRAPS, Anne Marciszyn is sure there would be hundreds more stray cats wandering around homeless.
"Considering how quickly cats reproduce, how many litters they can have per year and through a lifetime ... for every cat that you spay and neuter, you actually are helping hundreds of cats that aren't coming into the pool of homelessness," she said.
