Cohyn Wells seems like an ordinary nine-year-old kid.

He enjoys playing in his backyard with his friends and jumping on a trampoline. He cheers for the Calgary Flames and loves playing floor hockey, soccer and basketball. He just started Grade 4 at William Grayson Elementary School and wants to be a firefighter when he grows up.

But he has already gone through 13 surgeries, the first of which happened on the day he was born.
