An emotional day for parents, students on the first day of school

Lily Gulutzan clutched her mother's hand as they waited to enter Sunningdale School on Tuesday morning.

They joined a line leading to a door into the school, along with many other kids and parents. As soon as the bell rang, the lines started to file inside.

It was a big day for Gulutzan. It was her first day of Grade 1.
