The Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum holds special meaning for Peter Geitel from Finland.

After all, the museum's namesake, Tom Sukanen, is famous in Finland.

"Of course we knew about Sukanen because he's rather well known in Finland, especially with older people, not younger people anymore. Many, many people know that he's the ship man," said Geitel.
