Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Prices for school supplies adding up

For a student going into Grade 6 at Lindale School, the average
starting price for school supplies at Staples is close to $200.

Sending kids back to school isn’t cheap.


For a student heading into Grade 6/7 at Lindale School, the school supplies list provided at Staples Business Depot is, at the very minimum in pricing, a total of $194.99. That excludes the price for non-marking gym shoes and physical education clothing (shorts, t-shirt, sweatpants).

 Annual school supplies drive looking for items


The Moose Jaw Times-Herald and Staples Business Depot are partnering again to collect items for the School Supply Drive. The supplies will go to the Holy Trinity Catholic School Division and the Prairie South School Division to students who may have trouble affording the items. 


Items can be dropped off at the Times-Herald at 44 Fairford Street West or Staples at 451 Thatcher Drive East.
