Deb Thorn was surprised to find out she won the Lifetime Achievement PRISM Award on Saturday.
“You look at the accomplishments of the women who
are with you and it’s amazing. I mean everybody brings a whole lot of
value to the table and a whole lot of value to the community,” she said.
“So it’s right that it’s recognized by the community and it’s just a
wonderful evening of women supporting women.”
Thorn,
who is currently the economic development officer with the City of
Moose Jaw, is the former CEO of the South Central Enterprise Region. She
was the founding president and general manager of Temple Gardens
Mineral Spa for more than 10 years.
