Roof repair and replacement for the Kinsmen Sporsplex might receive provincial funding.
Executive committee approved the submission of the project for an application for funding from the Community Initiatives Fund
Community Places and Spaces Program.
“The program has been utilized before. It was
under a different name before as the Community Vitality Program,” said
Jody
Hauta, director of parks and recreation. “It was discontinued and
then they started this up again under the community places
and spaces and the funding parameters are a little bit different.”
