Routines can be hard to get back into.

Unless you don’t stop your routine, it can be a challenge to find motivation to stick to it.

Whether that’s going back to school after a summer of sleeping in and fun or going to regular rehearsals for a band and choir after having the summer off, no doubt it takes some time to get used to it.

It’s important to stay active all the time, but summers can be busy and oftentimes people don’t regularly get some exercise. Now this isn’t the case for all people. In fact a lot of people will get regular exercise year-round, such as sticking with a fitness class or going for a daily walk.

Of course we all need vacation time and there are many things to do in the summer. I am fully in support of this, which is why we need to find ways to motivate ourselves to get physical exercise.
