Smoke rose from the barbecue as Bill McLean and Derek McRitchie grilled hamburgers and hot dogs.
A long line of people paid their $5, got the appropriate condiments, salads, beverages and snacks and received a hot dog or hamburger before finding a seat at one of the three long tables set out partly in the sun and shade.
The Moose Jaw Real Estate Board held its annual charity barbecue in support of the YMCA Strong Kids program on Wednesday.
