Know of a tree with a special meaning?
If so, it can be nominated for Moose Jaw’s Tree of Significance this year. The parks and recreation department is looking
for nominations for the title.
The winning tree will be announced on Sept. 25, National Tree Day in Canada as part of National Forest Week. This is the third
or fourth year of the award.
“It’s mainly to bring awareness to our trees,” said parks gardener Daily Lennox.
