Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Federal grants allow for more parks and rec upgrades

City's parks and recreation department pleased to receive more than $500,000 in grants

Thanks to federal funding, the city's parks and recreation department will be doing some upgrades.

"We're very pleased," said Jody Hauta, director of parks and recreation. "It obviously allowed us to move some projects around as well. Because we're receiving this grant funding, there's funding that can be used for other capital projects."
