Moose Jaw Times-Herald: A double tragedy with Nova Scotia couple

It's one kind of tragedy when someone you know dies. It's a double tragedy when it happens on a public scale.

Such is the case for the horrible news of the Nova Scotia couple from Baddeck - 67-year-old Charles MacKenzie and 63-year-old Dorothy MacKenzie - were found dead in a whirlpool tub inside their hotel room at an all-inclusive Mexican resort in Playa del Carmen this week.

While there were no indications of violence, the initial autopsies indicate that Charles died of a heart attack and Dorothy drowned. Even more heartbreaking than their deaths is that the reason they travelled to Mexico was for their only daughter Jill's wedding. They died only days before she was to walk down the aisle.
