Councillors approve riding mower purchase for parks and rec

Councillors gave the OK for the purchase of a 60-inch riding mower for the parks and recreation department.
“This item was initially approved in 2011. It
was tendered in 2012. The tenders came in over budget and none of the
tenders
met specifications required,” said Jody Hauta, director of parks
and recreation. “In 2013, city council approved an increase
in the budget.”
