Colin Prang saw a way to save some money and get more work done on sanitary trunk sewer main improvements.

Prang, who is the City of Moose Jaw’s manager of engineering, presented a report to councillors at Monday’s executive committee meeting with a request to extend the 2014 sanitary trunk sewer improvement contract, which was awarded to Insituform out of Edmonton on Dec. 17.

The extension would include cleaning and lining of portions of the west trunk sewer between Main Street and Saskatchewan Street at an additional cost of $280,000.
