It was just before 3:45 p.m. on Saturday. A stack of pink paper airplane templates sat in the hall at the Western Development Museum (WDM), waiting to be folded.
The clock struck 3:45 p.m. and then the Pink Paper Plane Challenge began in honour of Women of Aviation Week, which was March 2 to 8 to coincide with International Women’s Day, which was on Sunday.
