After a third round of layoffs hit, a total of 20 staff and faculty members at Briercrest will have been laid off since fall.
Briercrest College and Seminary President Dr. Michael B. Pawelke said there were five layoffs on Thursday, marking the second
round of layoffs since September.
“These are people we care about and it’s been
very difficult, but at the same token, necessary if we’re going to have
the
financial health and stability that we need to have,” he said.
