With cold weather having arrived and more snow undoubtedly heading this way, permanent road patching with the hot mix has
stopped.
“The contractor shut down at the end of last week,” said Duane Grado, public works manager. “So what you see now on our repairs
on the street, in particular to excavations related to water main breaks and related to service connection replacements and
repairs, you’re seeing cold mix being applied.”
