The engineering department expects Highway 2 to reopen at
the end of November.
The east
water feeder line has been installed from Manitoba Street to a block south of
Home Street. When the contractor receives the valve chamber vaults, they will
be installed as well, hopefully next week. Because of soil conditions, the
project had experienced some initial delays. Main Street South was first closed
in June.
