Moose Jaw Times-Herald: SIAST workshop will teach teens about video game programming

Teenagers have the chance to learn about making video games.

On July 10 to 12 SIAST Palliser Campus in Moose Jaw is hosting its third annual Plan, Program, Play computer game programming interactive workshop.

“We find that kids with an interest in video gaming seem to have a natural talent for programming,” said Gavin Osborne, instructor in the SIAST business information systems programming, “So we’re trying to get them interested in information technology and programming by turning their hobby into something that they can eventually leverage into a profession and show them how we teach that kind of stuff at SIAST.”
