This year
is a big year for Canada.
After all,
it’s not every day that a country turns 150.
Actually,
it’s more like Canada is only 150 years old. Compared to other countries, we’re
quite young, but just like any other country we have a long history with many
bright spots and many more rough patches. We have made great progress, yet we
have so much more to do. Just take a look at the Truth and Reconciliation
recommendations and it’s glaringly obvious how much more we need to do.
