Melanie Ziffle has always dreamed of becoming a police officer.

On Thursday, her dreams were realized as she was sworn in as a constable with the Moose Jaw Police Service.

“I’ve always wanted to be a police officer. I just never did with young kids and my nursing career. Now the opportunity came and I took advantage of it,” said Ziffle.
