Adopting a family will help their Christmas be that much more special.
Maj. Rosena Halvorsen with the Salvation Army said between 60 and 70 families have been adopted so far. More than 200 families
were registered this year.
The deadline for the adopt-a-family program is
Friday at noon. To adopt a family, contact the Salvation Army office at
306-692-5899.
“So if someone wants to adopt a family, we’d request that they contact our office by that time and then we’re able to match
them with a family … that’s already been registered with us for a Christmas hamper,” she said.
