Moose Jaw Times-Herald: Gauging job growth in city

Taking a look at provincial gov't employment in Moose Jaw

While Saskatchewan saw an increase of 4,648 Saskatchewan Public Service (SPS) jobs from 1991 to 2015, Moose Jaw only increased by one job.

These findings were examined in a recent City of Moose Jaw economic development commission report, A Survey of Provincial Government Employment in Moose Jaw, 1991-2015.

In 1991, there were 7,224 SPS jobs in Saskatchewan, with 586 employees in Moose Jaw. In 2015, there were 11,872 SPS jobs in the province, an increase of 4,648, but there were 587 SPS jobs in Moose Jaw, an increase of one.
