Grajczyk has had sewer backup in her basement three times.
“It came up through our bathroom in the
basement. We had sewer coming up through our shower,” she said. “I’ve got three
little girls. Our basement is a major safety hazard and we spent a great deal
of money to purchase our home and we can’t even use our basement and it’s
horrible.”
Grajczyk lives
on the 200 block of Wood Lily Drive in Sunningdale and that subdivision has had
basement flooding and sewer backup issues after severe rainstorm events since
2013. Grajczyk said she has spent $70,000 because of damage caused by sewer
backups in her home.
