Banking is something that should be easy, but for Jack Saddleback, a Cree two-spirit transgender man, it is a constant challenge.

“What should be one of the easiest things to do, banking, is actually quite hard for me because I need to constantly verify who I am at every given moment at every given point,” he said after his presentation at the Festival of Words’ latest Canada 150 Future Thinkers series on Wednesday at the Moose Jaw Public Library theatre. “There should be a little note they can add easily to put in there. The simplest changes can go a long ways.”
