Viruses mutate all the time and just as they can affect humans, they can affect livestock as well.


This makes the research and development being done at the Vaccine and Infectious Disease Organization (VIDO)’s international vaccine centre at the University of Saskatchewan so important. Researchers there focus on diseases affecting the livestock industries that are also important to human health.
