No one was home when a fire broke out in the basement at a house on Caribou Street West on Tuesday afternoon.

Members of the Moose Jaw Fire Department and Moose Jaw Police Service arrived on the scene of the home at the corner of Caribou Street West and 10^th Avenue Northwest shortly after 1 p.m. after a passerby saw smoke coming out of a window.
