Moose Jaw Times-Herald: New HIV cases declining, but more education needed

Provincial HIV numbers are declining, but there is more work to do, according to provincial health officials.

“I think we’ve done some education of the public, but I don’t think we’ve done enough,” said HIV provincial leadership team medical health officer Dr. Johnmark Opondo. “We have several studies done in Saskatchewan, which still show that we still have pockets of the province where people are not very aware of the HIV situation and the concern that we have.”
