Salvation Army Hamper Program interviews to begin Tuesday

Christmas is a time for camaraderie and feasts, but not everyone can afford that.
That’s a fact the Salvation Army’s Christmas Hamper program is trying to change.
“I
think the community needs a program like this to help them, especially
Christmastime, when families are certainly spending a little bit more
money, maybe on the gift giving, that they may not have enough for the
food,” said Maj. Rosena Halvorsen of the Salvation Army, who is in
charge of the Christmas Hamper program this year.
